Intrust Limited Invests in Interface Software's InterAction®

Relationship Intelligence Delivered by CRM Solution Seen as Critical to Firm's Business Development & Marketing Strategies

OAK BROOK (IL) & LONDON (UK), 12 August, 2002: Interface Software announced today that London-based Intrust Limited, a UK-based tax consultancy and corporate services group, has licensed InterAction, the leading CRM solution for financial and other professional services organisations. Intrust plans on centralising its repository of information about people, companies, relationships, experience and expertise onto the InterAction platform to provide a unified, 360-degree view of clients, prospects and other relationships.

Intrust's marketing department is charged with the responsibility of strategic business development. Previously, the firm had used an assortment of address books, marketing databases and various spreadsheets to coordinate these activities. "We had extensive client information coming in from a variety of sources," recalled David Sykes, Intrust's marketing director. "But with a patchwork of systems, we couldn't ensure that all relevant information would get to those who needed it for business development and client service."

The lack of a coordinated system also impacted Intrust's marketing efforts, making it time consuming for the firm to effectively communicate with clients and prospects. "When sponsoring events, we were never in a position to know if we had distributed invitations to all relevant contacts," Sykes said. "We often found situations in which names got lost. Those were opportunities missed. InterAction will enable us to develop business more effectively and make the most out of our relationships."
