Law Firm Bullivant Houser Bailey Selects Interface Software's InterAction for CRM

System will integrate relationship, financial and matter data to provide global client view

OAK BROOK (IL) 28 July, 2004: Interface Software announced today that the Portland, Oregon-based law firm, Bullivant Houser Bailey (Bullivant), has selected InterAction®, the leading client relationship management (CRM) solution for professional services and relationship-based organizations, as the primary technology infrastructure for the firm's Relationship Intelligence strategy. InterAction will be rolled out firm wide to 350 lawyers, support staff and marketing personnel throughout seven offices and will serve as the firm's central repository of information about clients and contacts.

Prior to licensing InterAction, Bullivant maintained relationship information in multiple databases, spreadsheets and contact managers. This scattered system proved inadequate as the firm expanded. "With seven offices now in three states, we needed a way to better share relationship intelligence about who knows whom and manage business development," said Davis. The law firm conducted an extensive study of all of its relationship data sources and work processes, using the services of CRM expert Nancy Manzo of Manzo Marketing, before deciding on InterAction as a solution.

To integrate InterAction with firm processes, Bullivant, among other things, is storing individual lawyer business plans within the system via a business plan template. Once saved to the central repository, users can uncover interrelationships between different plans that can be used to help achieve specific objectives.

The firm will be integrating InterAction with its Elite time and billing system to provide partners instant visibility into revenues and other financial data. It also will be rolling out the InterAction® Matters™ module in order to tie together specific matter-related data with the people, companies and relationships associated with those matters.
