Professional Services Sales and Business Development Expert, Darryl Cross, Joins Interface Software
Company reaffirms professional services vertical focus by hiring top industry talent
OAK BROOK (IL) 20 September, 2004: Interface Software announced today that Darryl Cross has joined the company as its director of business development. In this capacity, Cross is responsible for consulting with professional service organizations (PSOs) to help them develop more effective business development and sales cultures, and more effectively leverage client relationship management (CRM) technology to achieve strategic business objectives. He also manages Interface Software's Partner Program of over 60 companies specializing in the planning, deployment and training of InterAction®, Interface Software's market-leading CRM solution for PSOs and other relationship-based organizations.

Prior to joining Interface Software Cross specialized as a consultant to law firms in building the sales culture and business development strategies that empower professionals to generate new revenue. His direct experience in PSOs includes his service as the Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the Executive Committee of a large law firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. During his tenure, he won national recognition in legal marketing by receiving the 2003 Elite Excellence in Marketing Award for "Creating a Sales Culture at a Law Firm." He also was a finalist for the 2003 National Marketing Director of the Year and 2004 Marketing Initiative of the Year.
Cross serves on the Board of Editors for Legal Sales and Service Organization's Selling and Service Excellence for Lawyers and American Lawyer Media's Marketing the Law Firm publications as well as the Editorial Committee for the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). He is the author of numerous nationally published articles and is a frequent speaker and trainer on the subject of client relationship management, sales/business development, cross-selling, and client-centric strategies designed to turn marketing ideas into actual results.
