KPMG New Zealand Selects Interface Software's InterAction for CRM

Firm intends to build reliable central repository of client relationship intelligence to support client service and business development activities

OAK BROOK (IL), 8 November, 2004: Interface Software announced today that KPMG New Zealand has selected InterAction® to support the firm's CRM strategy. InterAction will provide a reliable central repository of contact and relationship intelligence to support the firm's client management, business development and marketing initiatives.

Previously, KPMG New Zealand's client and contact information had been stored in various repositories, and in varying e-mail, spreadsheet and database formats. "InterAction will provide us with better access to consistent client information," said Bull.

After having looked at several products, from large international and local (Australasian) firms, KPMG New Zealand was referred to InterAction by another KPMG international practice that had implemented it. The firm's initial plans are to develop a robust contact and relationship database populated with accurately maintained and updated information. InterAction's built-in data quality and data change management tools will be invaluable during this process. After developing the system's relationship intelligence content, the firm will then apply InterAction to the firm's business development and client management functions. "The product gives us the flexibility to start small and expand data requirements and functionality in several phases," said Bull.
