LexisNexis Launches Corporate Intelligence Subscription™ for the InterAction CRM Solution

This Client Development offering integrates external company profile information with InterAction data to provide a more comprehensive, 360-degree view of clients and prospects

OAK BROOK (IL), 25 September, 2006. LexisNexis announced today the launch of the LexisNexis Corporate Intelligence Subscription™ for InterAction. This new offering integrates external LexisNexis content with InterAction, the market-leading CRM solution for professional services organizations, providing InterAction users with a true, 360-degree view of clients and prospects. The Corporate Intelligence Subscription will allow firms to more easily segment their markets, conduct more effective marketing programs and make critical decisions about where to target their business development efforts.

"Corporate Intelligence Subscription delivers on LexisNexis' vision of providing integrated content and CRM solutions, enabling InterAction users to benefit from LexisNexis' vast resources of information about firms' clients, prospects and competitors," said John McDonnell, vice president and general manager of LexisNexis InterAction. "The Corporate Intelligence Subscription will truly make professionals, marketers and business development teams more effective and efficient in revenue generation activities."

A common challenge among firms implementing CRM solutions is the significant time, expense and overhead involved in both initially populating the CRM database with meaningful client and prospect information, and in maintaining the quality and accuracy of that data over time. The Corporate Intelligence Subscription addresses this challenge by automatically populating InterAction and updating the system on a regular basis with externally derived corporate profile data essential in the marketing and business development process. The new package will continually update key company profile information directly into InterAction including industry, SIC/NAICS codes, revenue and company size. Professionals can also link out to LexisNexis atVantage for more extensive corporate information, such as a company's litigation history, corporate structure and hierarchy, and a myriad collection of news, business, financial and personnel information about the organization.

"Corporate Intelligence Subscription represents an excellent blending of LexisNexis content with InterAction," said Blain Banick, chief marketing officer at the Philadelphia-based law firm, Ballard Spahr. "This offering is evidence that LexisNexis is working hard to provide integrated solutions that are tailored to the needs of various users."

Corporate Intelligence Subscription data also integrates seamlessly with the InterAction Personal Information Manager (PIM) desktop client interfaces. This means that professionals who access InterAction via Microsoft® Outlook, Lotus Notes® or Novell® GroupWise® will also have instant access to corporate profile data about their clients and prospect, without having to worry about how to find the data.

"The Corporate Intelligence Subscription for InterAction gives me easy access to everything I need to know about my clients' companies, industries and current news about them," said Phil Korb, a partner at Ballard Spahr. "Before I talk to a possible new client, or catch up with an existing client, I make it a point to do some instant research with this client development tool, which helps me identify business development opportunities and serve my clients better."

"The vision of LexisNexis' Client Development solutions line is to provide integrated tools and content that help professional services firms better build their brands, uncover new business opportunities and enhance client service," said Joe Douress, senior vice president of Client Development at LexisNexis. "The Corporate Intelligence Subscription for InterAction is the first tool of its kind, and significantly enhances the ROI of a firm's InterAction implementation by helping professionals, marketing and business development teams leverage both internal and external intelligence about clients and prospects to support their growth strategies."
