CRM Solution LexisNexis® InterAction® Successfully Completes the SOC 2 Examination

Robust security policies and procedures keeping InterAction customers’ data secure and available

LexisNexis InterAction, the leading client relationship management (CRM) solution specifically designed for legal and professional services, has successfully completed the Type 1 SOC 2 examination for its hybrid cloud application. Performed by an independent CPA firm, the SOC 2 examination focuses on controls relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy, based on the Trust Services Principles as defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). 

Following the completion of the SOC 2 examination, the Type 1 Report demonstrates that LexisNexis InterAction’s hybrid cloud CRM solution has strict information security policies and procedures in place for keeping customers’ data private and secure and ensuring that the data is accessible at any time.

Steve Iddings, CTO of LexisNexis Legal Business Solutions and InterAction, underscores that “Security is our number one priority, and we are continually enhancing this capability. The successful completion of this examination should give our customers extreme confidence and assurance that we have robust Service Organization controls to ensure the availability and security of their clients’ data residing in InterAction.” 

To demonstrate its commitment to ensuring data security, LexisNexis InterAction has proactively undertaken this examination to enable its customers to meet their own regulatory compliance responsibilities, of which SOC 2 is an important component.

LexisNexis InterAction’s Type 1 SOC 2 report is available to InterAction customers upon request, subject to a non-disclosure agreement.
